Lanka Refractories Ltd was incorporated in December 1982 in Sri Lanka as a legal entity. The company is well equipped with the machineries and technical assistance received from M/s Pragoinvest of Czech Republic and some other important machines imported from Germany. The total investment made in establishing the plant and machineries was $ 2.5 m.n. We are the only sole manufacturer in the Country for the refractory items. This plant with the installed capacity of 8000 MT of Production per annum was a fully owned subsidiary of Lanka Ceramic Limited until September 2002 .Since October 2002 ,the company ownership was transferred to present Management of Malaysian and Sri Lankan investors. Presently we have highly skilled work force of 80 employees including a well experienced management team. Under the present management, the production and sales activities have been streamlined to cater the customers' requirements while ensuring customer satisfaction.
